Air France, the French flag carrier was formed on 7 October 1933. It is now a subsidiary of Air France- KLM Group and a founding member of the SkyTeam global airlines alliance. With the main operating hub at Paris- Charles de Gaulle Airport and a fleet of 387 Aircraft (Air France Group), Air France operates to 272 destinations across Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania (including France domestic and destinations operate by its subsidiaries).

KLM (Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V) under the name KLM Royal Dutch Airlines formed on 7 October 1919 is the flag carrier airlines of the Netherlands. With the main hub at Amsterdam Airport Schipol with 206 Aircrafts (KLM Group) in its fleet, the world’s oldest airlines operate to 133 destinations worldwide. KLM has been the part of the AIR FRANCE-KLM group since the merger in May 2004.

The result of a merger between AIR FRANCE and KLM in 2004, have made it the largest European airlines group with a perfectly complementary network all over the world. The hubs at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schipol are the cornerstones of this dual network linking Europe and the rest of the world, with 593 aircrafts to 230 Intl. destinations in 113 countries. This vast choice of destinations enables passengers to combine an outbound flight on Air France with an inbound flight with KLM (or vice versa). With record load factors on long-haul and medium-haul sectors alike, Air France and KLM carried 75.6 million passengers in 2011.
